Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Vspot, a clipboard management application for macOS ("Service" or "App"), operated by Vspot ("we," "us," or "our").

1. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Vspot on your macOS devices for personal or commercial use.

2. Restrictions

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
• Modify, adapt, alter, translate, or create derivative works of the App
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices on the App
• Use the App for any illegal, harmful, or malicious purposes
• Distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or lend the App to third parties
• Use the App to violate any applicable laws or regulations

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device and data
• Complying with all applicable laws when using the App
• Ensuring you have proper rights to any content you store in Vspot
• Protecting sensitive information (passwords, personal data, etc.) stored in the App
• Regular backups of important data (though Vspot stores data locally)

4. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information. Key points:

• All data is stored locally on your device
• We do not access or transmit your clipboard content
• You maintain full control over your data

5. Intellectual Property

Vspot and all related materials are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights, title, and interest in the App remain with us and our licensors.

6. Updates and Modifications

We may:

• Release updates, upgrades, or new versions of the App
• Modify features or functionality with reasonable notice
• Update these Terms from time to time

Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of any changes.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of data or information
• Loss of profits or business opportunities
• System downtime or unavailability
• Any damages resulting from use or inability to use the App

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content you store or manage through the App

10. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated by either party. You may terminate by:

• Uninstalling the App from your device
• Ceasing all use of the App

We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and may delete it from your devices.

11. macOS App Store

If you download Vspot from the Mac App Store, you also agree to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. In case of conflicts between these Terms and Apple's agreement, Apple's terms prevail regarding your relationship with Apple.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of Vspot.

15. Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use Vspot. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the App.
